The focus of Bad-Tenants.net is to be a community for landlords to submit their good and bad tenants. Many of our team members at Bad-Tenants.net have tried to use traditional background checks only to find that they are outdated or misleading. Many times background check websites only give you a tenant’s public record information. They don't necessarily give you a true picture of what that tenant is like. Often bad tenants will have no detailed history of not paying the rent on time simply because the landlord didn't report them to a collections agency.
